EXPO RURAL and EXPO CARNE 2008 will take place on October 23-26, at Atlapa Convention Center, in Panama City, Republic of Panama.

The facility has ample interior and exterior exhibit spaces, as well as adequate areas for demonstrations, presentations, contests, lectures and conferences. It is an ideal venue for congresses, conventions, trade fairs and meetings, and features excellent facilities and services for world-class events.

Atlapa Convention Center is located in the heart of Panama City, only minutes away from the capital’s International Banking Center and Tocumen International Airport, which provides services to some of the world’s most important airlines.

Panama City offers a cluster of five-star hotels and modern malls, in addition to fascinating tourist sites and a delicious and diverse international culinary spectrum. It also boasts of having a number of exotic entertainment venues and a variety of nightlife options. All of this in a cosmopolitan environment.

A. ENTRANCE COST

• The admittance fee for the general public is B/. 3.50, of which B/. 1.50 is destined for the consumption of food or goods.
• Discounts offered by law to retirees will be honored by showing an ID.
• Admittance for children ages 12 and younger who are accompanied by adults is free.

B. SCHEDULE

• The fair’s opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Activities that evening will last until 10:00 p.m.
• The fair’s working hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, 2008.
